I'd prefer not to rent another DCX3600 from TWC. Is the Tivo Mini compatible with the DCX3600M as a wireless (or even internet 10BaseT) device?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your cable company offers a cable card(it's cheaper to rent), you can buy a TiVo Bokt or Roamio to replace the main DVR and add the mini to the 2nd room with no additional monthly fee.

We bought our main box & then we rent a cable card for $3 or so a month from time warner and it gives us digital channels- the only thing we can't to is order PPV- but we never used that anyway. You still get your cable through time warner. We have had Tivo since 1999-2000? Of course we have uograded our box through the years but we won't ever go back to a cable box again. We also have 8 minis throughout our house & love them. You can watch whatever shows you have taped on your main box on the minis- hope that helped & good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Why not give your Arris back too TWC and buy a TiVo Bolt as you main UHD/DVR receiver and the Mini for your BR. I did, and love them. Total cost about $300 retail, and you can occasionally find for less. Better technology than TWC, easy setup, simple to use remote, and no monthly leases. You pay TWC $2.50 per month for the card which includes free tuning adapter, if needed.
