QuestionDo I have to charge my GPS before going on a trip/

- Answer Hi there! You shouldn't need to charge your device before a trip, we really advise to keep it plugged in whilst in the car so that it can perform at its best. However, in the case you can't use the CLA adapter ,you can always charge for two hours, then the battery should last approximate two hours (this may vary though). - Answer Hi, Thanks for your question. The VIA 1605 does not require a phone to get traffic. Traffic information is received by the RDS-TMC power cable. Thanks, TomTom Community Manager

- Answer Yes It does. Buy a Brick and can use the power cable to charge in a house. You may not have access to a car charger, so this is your backup for charging the GPS.

QuestionWhat model can I get to receive traffic updates if I don't have a smartphone?I don't have a smart phone. The GPS I am replacing gave me traffic via a traffic receiver cord plugged into my car battery. I bought a Go600, which requires a smartphone. Will my traffic receiver cord give me those updates? The cord model is 4UUC5B . It does fit the Go600. If not, what model can I buy and get lifetime traffic updates? Thank you Phyllis M

- Answer Turn the round piece that attaches to the windshield...that makes it "lick" in. I had the same problem till I realized that piece turned.
