A:Answer I would say "maybe". It depends how much power that station broadcasts with. I can pick up a couple stations 30-40 miles away (San Francisco metro area), but there's static unless the antenna is positioned just right. I have a few old boomboxes from the 80s and they have better reception than this does. Today's boomboxes don't have quality FM tuners, because they figure consumers don't care about that anymore. So in your situation I would recommend buying something with an antenna port on the back that would allow you to connect an external antenna.
