QuestionWhen displaying in 1080p does it give you a true 1080p or does it turn into a smaller resolution, I had bought a UhD tv a while back and tried changing my resolution to 1360X768 or 1280X720 and it was to small.

- Answer True 1080p. Might not see it right away with a laptop connected as it will default to Duplicate, with whatever resolution the laptop is running. But this can be changed in the advanced display settings in Windows.

QuestionToshiba has a pretty poor rating at consumer reports for TVs. Has anyone had problems with LCD TVs made by them . Are the 4k reliable and do they have good pictures and color?

- Answer It depends on the source and you can stretch the 4:3 resolution size. If you have a cable box or satellite, it should give you the option to change as well. Some local HD channels will never fill the screen because the video was cut for 4:3 size. This TV does not have zoom in functions from what I recall but only the stretch 4:3 feature.

QuestionTV has turned itself ON and OFF in the middle of the night on two occasions. Sleep and game timers are both off. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

- Answer Check to see if the TV powers up after the power goes out, by pulling the plug (when the TV is off) from the wall and then re-inserting it. Some TVs do this by default, others do not, and some have a setting in the menu to control this. If it does power up, your power supply or wall connections may be intermittent, and causing this. ALSO, my power at my home has went out for a couple seconds 3 times in the past month for no reason, and if your TV powers up when first plugged in, this may be what's causing it. (look for digital clocks that were also reset) ;-)

- Answer Sorry, this TV is 4K, BUT NOT HDR. TV will not support Sony's YUV420 color format. #2) Look for backlight options under Menu>Picture>Picture mode. Also look at your Menu>Picture>Display settings for options to size, aspect ratios, etc. Key settings to "auto" for the TV to manage incoming signals. Hope this helps.

- Answer It is available at Best Buy now (10-16-16) and it is on sale for $299, $100 off. Best picture rendition I have ever seen. Blows away the 1080's.

Questionjust got this tv yesterday but every time I use chromecast it keeps pausing and my phone keeps disconnecting. I haven't been able to watch anything at all, can't even play music without it pausing every 5 seconds, it also keeps muting? How do I fix this?

QuestionI hooked this TV to a computer and the Native Resolution is 1920x1080 instead of 3840x2160 (using the Advanced Display setting). It doesn't appear to be a UHD panel .Anyone seeing it as "3840x2160 (Recommended)" on the Display Setting?

- Answer The TV will only show what your video board output resolution is set to. 1920x1080 is the high resolution of most computer screens and standard video boards. My MacPro shows resolution on the TV equal to 4K numbers. This is a computer video issue, not the TV.
