Q: QuestionCan I use another toshiba tv remote that actually has numbers to enter channel for this tv ? ( over the air tv is the source I use, no cable box so there is no other remote)

• A:Answer I bought a $5 universal remote so I could enter the channels. Works fine. There's also an app to use your phone as a remote.

Q: QuestionI bought this TV for the awesome price at Best Buy. Does anyone know why HBO on Demand (and a few other specific channels) go into a "blinking" mode where the picture just keeps blinking in and out while an info bar (AV480i and MaTV) blinks also?

• A:Answer The tv may need to have the firmware updated. You can do it yourself. I am having the same issue with mine. My first Toshiba had to be replaced because it developed a HUGE white cloud on the screen and now this one turns off about 3-4 times a day. Frustrating the heck outta us. I want to return it but im out of my 15 days by 1 day and they would not make the exchange. You can update the firmware at the Toshiba support site listed on back of the remote. http://tvna.compal-toshiba.com/us/en/download/?series=529&model=561

Q: QuestionHello, I purchased this tv and the display is great. However, I am not able to pass the audio to my receiver through ARC enable HDMI (both this TV and my Receiver has the ARC HDMI channels). Is there any specific setting needs to be done? Thanks

• A:Answer I also purchased this TV and the ARC does not work for me, I have followed the Manual, the HDMI CEC is turned on and I am connecting this to an LG Soundbar (SH5B) HDMI ARC port. I ended up connecting it via Optical cable. I have also changed HDMI cables just to make sure it's not the cable and still no sound.

Q: QuestionI have Netflix and Amazon Prime video. The best I can get is 1080p when I hit the "info" button on the remote. I've been streaming 4K contents. Has anyone gotten the "info" to display 4K?

• A:Answer you have to pay for the top level membership of netflix in order to display 4k. I haven't figured out how to access 4k on amazon. I did learn that amazon will not cast from an ipad or iphone, and my chromebook only casts amazon with picture, but no sound.
