Questionis this hard drive compatible with Windows 10? I don't want a lot of drama, calling tech support, downloading drivers, etc. I just want to plug it into a Windows 10 Dell and back up my data.

QuestionWhich Canvios can be used with Vista? And are all backward compatible with USB 2.0?My question is is above. I saw the box for the 3T lists Vista and clearly indicates it works with USB 3.0 and 2.0. Comparisons usually do not mention 2.0 for any size drive and only the 3T seems to mention Vista. Is that correct or is Vista considers a variation of 7 which is always listed>

- Answer Thanks for your question. The Canvio Connect II hard drives are all compatible with Windows Vista. They are also all compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.

- Answer The Toshiba drive comes pre-formatted and includes the software that you install to be able to do volume and/or files backups.....to the hard drive or to the cloud. Double-click on "Setup" to install the software (if Windows doesn't ask what you want to do when you plug in the drive).

- Answer the bluray player supports DLNA on the network it is connected to. this is a storage device, not a DLNA item. it will not work by hooking straight into the bluray player, it must be connected to a device that uses it for storage
