What is the battery life on this machine? null

It's good. I get 8 hours running photoshop and dreamweaver. These apps are that heavy, but just so you have an idea.

Realistic, with the screen at a brightness I could actually see and the keypad lit up 24/7 (a cool feature given not enough PC makers seem to realize this is a vital part of using a computer after dinnertime), I would say I averaged about five hours, running iTunes while browsing the web, etc.

Based on the manufacturer specs, this laptops battery can last up to 9.08 hours. Thanks!
