“Hi. I have my entire house wired with CAT5 Ethernet cables. I read that WIFI 7 works best with Cat6 and Cat7, is that true? Or would I get the full benefits of wifi 7 with cat 5 cables as well?”

Hi Gev323, If your home is wired with CAT5 (not CAT5e), the maximum wired throughput over those cables would be limited to 100Mbps, which would significantly bottleneck the Deco BE65 Pro, as each node is equipped with both 2500Mbps and 5000Mbps Ethernet ports. For 1000Mbps (also known as 1Gbps or Gigabit) connectivity, CAT5e would be needed. And for speeds beyond 1Gbps - such as 2.5Gbps or 5Gbps, CAT6 cabling would be suggested. Please bear in mind would only apply to devices that are connected via Ethernet to your home network.
