- Answer As long as you have your kernel sources in place as well as GCC and the rest of the toolchain, just git clone https://github.com/cilynx/rtl88x2bu and follow the notes. You should be good to go. (I run Fedora 32 + Kernel 5.7.12 and this kernel module with a T4U v3)

- Answer Hello Mark, Yes that should be no problem. In fact any network card should allow this. If your internal card does not i would check with Dell to see why. There may be a setting enabled to block this with in the computer OS. Remember open networks are considered unsecure and potentially dangerous. If they can be avoided it would be best.

- Answer It really depends on the signal received and the enviroment you deploy the adapter in. 50 feet with a 5GHz wireless signal is pretty far but if the signal is strong will still work.
