• The only way to shorten the power cord would be to cut the cord in the middle, splice the wires together and then water-proof the junction. That would probably be an unsafe way to accomplish it. The camera does not have provision for onboard storage but there is free short-term storage through the app and you can pay for longer term storage.

• As far as I know, it can't be shortened and no,it doesn't have a slot for micro card.
