- Answer this is a very simple phone to use. Mine has a camera but you don't have to use it. But if you are ever in an accident it is good to have to take pictures right away. I had one similar to this but tracphone discontinued servicing that one but was so glad to find one that works just as easily SO easy to use

- Answer This type of telephone might be a perfect fit for someone like your sister . It is not required that you MUST have a monthly contract, and all she will need to do is to buy minutes either online OR on the phone itself (after it is initially registered) OR by buying a card at a store (e.g. Walgreen) ; she only needs to buy however many minutes that she feels that she will need, and there are also cards available which give "double minutes" etc. .As to whether the phone has a voice recording feature, although I am not 100% certain that it does, I think so. ( This can be very easily verified online or at Best Buy ! )
