• I have a 124 gig in mine and it works fine. Some apps however cannot be stored on and SD card. But that's the app and not Tracfone.

• I had no trouble downloading applications from the Play Store to my J3 Luna with nothing but the Sim card installed. I presume they are stored in main storage. Why would you think that the Android system would be altered in a Samsung unit?
