“Can this phone be unlocked after 6 or 12 months? Can the sim card be replaced for travel in Europe?”

• Tracfone can unlock it for you after using their network for certain amount of time, in my case 11 months on a LG phone last year, or you can pay for a unlock code from outside if u don't want wait. The sim is replaceable, but it is a CDMA phone not GSM , so it might not work in Europe, check band wave between US and there to see if it comparable.
