“It says in the specs that the phone has hotspot capabilities. Is this true? I didn't think tracfone allowed phones to be used as hotspots.”

Hello. This is Mae from TracFone Wireless. We do not allow Mobile tethering or Hotspot on our phones. However, you can still connect your phone to an available Wi-Fi.
