A:AnswerThe best thing to do is call Tracfone. They have been very helpful when I had questions. Wish I could tell you but my voicemail set up very easily. Check with them.
A:AnswerYes it does support WiFi calling.
From your home screen, swipe down twice from the top and touch the gear icon. Tap the "More" button and then select "Wi-Fi calling."
A:AnswerI have been in Minneapolis several times and have had zero problems with reception. I live in a rural area about an hour from Minneapolis and my reception is good here as well.
A:AnswerYes this phone is still available and I am still receiving triple minutes with it. No it does not limit number of character in a text. Really pleased with this phone.
A:AnswerYes, it does come with migration software, but I think you will be disappointed at the speed with which it runs apps compared to say a Galaxy s7 or s8; it chugs along at a noticeably slower pace, with apps offering you to put the instance of their app out of it's misery as they don't seem to be responding, if you select wait, it will more often than not reward your patience with a break through and catch-up to the human input.
I didn't expect the speed of my s7, I got this Luna so I could avoid some of the, lets call it what it is, abusive pricing on hardware and services for a simple phone. TBH, I only use my s7 for phone calls maybe 2-3 times a month, the rest of the time I'm at home taking skype calls via WiFi, so hundreds of dollars for my s7 to operate in those spaces where WiFi isn't available seems unfair. So I get a Luna for out and about call capability, in those rare moments it's needed, and some occasional browsing. $15/mo, with rollover still seems pricey but it's one of the better deals out there by Tracephone. Supposedly Ting is a bit better, as low as $6/mo for bare bones service for those of us who don't spend much time on the phone... but the time since launch, low margins and conspicuous lack of chatter about them leads me to believe they're either defunct, bought out or out of business.
Keep in mind when they tell you it's an 8 core processor, it's true and false, yes the Snapdragon processors have 8 cores, but it's something called BIG/little architecture, 4 cores are power hungry but powerful, these are the "Big cores" that do all the work while your screen in on and you're running multiple apps, nice fast response times. The other 4 cores are little ones, engaged when the screen is not on and they are super efficient but quite slow, but not that you need lots of power when your screen is off. If you buy an S7 or S8 you'll be happy with the power to run apps via wifi. If you're interested in a cheap method of bare bones communication, Galaxy Luna is just fine.
A:AnswerYes, according to Tracfone.com, Tracfone Samsung Galaxy Luna Black will work in zip code 50423. Go to Tracfone website, select shop for phones, then type in your zip code, and it displays all the Tracfone phones that will work in your area.
