A:Answer Hi Phill, unfortunately this phone will NOT work in Australia. The frequency bands are different in Australia and in the United States. Also, Tracfones are programmed not to work on foreign, non-american phone networks. For example, in Canada the phone frequencies are the same that you could find in the United States, but if the phone detects its on a Canadian network, it won't work. This phone is locked to tracfone only and cannot be unlocked. I hope this helps!
