• Yes any ethernet connection. Cat5e is what most modems use for connections

• The BROADBAND port on that modem appears to be a phone line. This is for phone. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-25-line-cord-white/6355403.p?skuId=6355403 The cable on this page is for ETHERNET. It is an RJ45 cable. 8 pins Phone is RJ11. 4 pins
