Yes this mic has a mute buttons

It does not, however there is a mic off button so people won't hear you. It also comes with a dial that's very smooth so you can quickly lower the volume to where you won't hear anything which is basically mute.

It has a button that can turn the microphone part of the headset off and on without effecting the sound of the music or game you are listening to.

Yes it does as well as super human sound as a option unlike the 500 series.The mute button is located on the front right ear pad.
