“can you set a default channel? Is there a way to set a default channel that will play when the TV is turned on? Currently, my universal remote will not engage the highlighted channel and I have to use the insignia remote. I would rather just use my universal remote so I'm wondering if you can set a default channel that will play when the TV is turned on”

• Yes, you can set which input the TV powers on to. Go to the home screen to the settings, then to system settings, then to the power settings and then the power on setting. In this setting you can set which input the TV turns onto.

• You will have to start with the TV antenna, etc. icon anyway, regardless of what channel you leave it on. It will return to whatever channel you last used. I don't think it can be programmed to a default chanel.
