• Depends on the city environment. But I would safely say in a normal city 2-5 miles. But you could get more if there's less obstacles in the way. And less if there's more. If you are going into a highrise environment, I tested at 8 floors and they worked good

• We used them in Dallas and were able to use them on opposite sides of the Galleria Mall and the Dallas zoo. We did not test the furthest but the only time we had issues is where there were a lot of hills on the trip to Dallas.
