QuestionDoes this have to be plugged into or wired into the car electrical system? Or is this self-contained & run on battery it comes with. If so how long does the battery last before replacing.

- Answer The battery only lasts 10 minutes according to the manual. It has to be plugged in while you are driving.

QuestionCan I record in my car while using my laptop as a power source.I have a car without a functioning lighter (power source) and when I plug my current dash cam into my laptop it charges it but will not record the road. The display on dash cam only gives me 2 options Mass storage or PC Camera. Does this unit say or do something similar? How to solve problem?

QuestionHow do you delete the sad card and what is the setting for automatic looping?

- Answer In the menu there is a setting "format" which will erase and reformat the card. For auto looping set the time frame you want under "loop recording". I set mine at 5 min.
