Q: QuestionWe had our remote set up years ago and we have been living on the mainland. I can't find on the remote how to turn on the surround sound. Is there a manual for this remote, I wasn't left one. I just went through all the manuals that were left. Thank you

• A:Answer There are a few remotes from URC that can also work alongside an app. The MX HomePro and Total Control product lines do that, though this model (X-8) is not one of those models. You might want to look at Savant if you're looking for a professional quality remote that works alongside an app.

• A:Answer That depends on how they programmed the favorites for you. Sometimes with cable/satellite programmers will make the page buttons (to the left and right of MAIN) change the pages, and as you change the pages inside your cable box/satellite box you might have access to your favorite channels. If that doesn't work, then you might want to contact your programmer.
