“Hi I am purchasing this as a Christmas gift for my daughters family, should I get a firesick or something like that to go with it so they can use it right away to maybe watch a football game? Would it need something like that for that purpose?”

i use a firestick lite with it, but beware because on mine the shortcut buttons to programs like netflix and disney plus, the home button, and the alexa button make the projector disconnect. when it does you need to switch from input hdmi1 to hdmi2 and keep doing it till the picture reappears. i had the same problem with google tv chromecast, but with the firestick lite the back button works, so you can navigate out of programs. it just takes more work. if you already have a laptop or ipad, get an hdmi cable to connect it directly. i’ve used my ipad on it and it works great
