A:Answer Yes, I had to purchase the $20 hardwire kit, and Best Buy installed it hardwire in my 2025 VW Jetta. They also charged a little more for installation of the exterior back camera. It took them about an hour. They did a professional job. The back camera is installed above the top left of the License plate. This was needed as my back window is tinted limo dark. The exterior back camera view is cool when viewing the videos.
