no it is yours to keep. because you will be under contract for 2 years like you did for your phone. if you bought it at $199 you bought it now outright and it is yours. and you are not under contract. which means you can cancel this at any time. under contract you cannot cancel (big fee involved). this is like when you bought an cell phone.
