A:AnswerI use mine to monitor a remote cabin. I've had only one issue in the past 3 months. For some reason it reset. I don't know if it was due to a update or what. Someone had to go in and press the ON button to get it back on line. I don't know of any way to tell it to go to the ON state after reset.
A:AnswerYou won’t need cell service with them but they will start an account since you pay monthly. They actually assign a phone number to the jetpack.
A:AnswerI don't know. Have never used it out side of the US. If you have cell phone service there i would think it would work. You will have to have cell service for it to work for sure.
A:AnswerYou could move the hotspot or add a WiFi extender at an intermediate location.

A:Answerthey have a battery, and are portable. You can use it on the go or at home as-is. Turn it on or plug it in and turn it on, and use it no matter where as long as there is cell service.
A:AnswerSign up with Verizon, check their website for rates for hotspot only. I pay for an unlimited plan for my phone, hotspot service for this is an extra $20 a month.
A:AnswerGenerally speaking, the jetpack will provide the same throughput and lag as using your phone as a hotspot. Netflix should stream with no issues. The lag may be an issue with some games. You also need to pay attention to details of your data plan.
A:AnswerWe use it to watch Netflix every day, sometimes it is slow and buffers, but not often. The cost was $200 for the device $40 start fee one time and $20 per month at Verizon.
A:AnswerI was pleasantly surprised that my online games worked perfectly, even a fps like Destiny saw no latency or performance drops. That said, you may find that one large update can quickly eat up the hotspot data soft cap and then you will have to contend with throttled speeds. As an example, after the 15gb soft cap on my plan was used up I had a 2GB game update take a couple "nights" of leaving the console powered on overnight to download.. That was two days I couldn't use that particular game at all.. very disappointing. The throttled speed after the soft cap did not affect Netflix much and I have not had the chance to try a fps on the throttled speeds yet.. In short, the performance is remarkable, much better than Satellite. The soft cap is garbage tactics that I can't wait for cell phone companies to move past.
A:AnswerRegardless of where you use it or what car you're in, as long as you have cell service it can be used. I'll use it in the car or on a bus no problems.
A:AnswerCan be used in Europe.
However. .....make sure you check with carrier and put roaming price plan in effect.
The last time I used it,it was a flat $10 per day....only on the days I used it.
