“I have an Iphone 6s 32GB that I have had for years with Verizon. I don't want to change my plan or number. How do I switch over without disrupting my current plan or number; can someone walk me through this? I don't know what a SIM card is BTW.”

You can just buy an other phone if that what you mean by switch, and use the same card you have but the phone should Be a a Verizon phone or from retail stores but it have to be set to work with Verizon or unlocked phone.
