All you need is a charger, with male end that goes in the cigarette lighter port, and a male micro USB connector on the other to go in the phone. You can usually find them anywhere, gas stations, and grocery stores even have them. Yes, you can also charge this with a backup battery pack, just make sure it has a compatible usb connector.
