Bought one for myself earlier this year, then my husband needed a new phone and bought this one for him. Only issue with them so far is that if it is in your back pocket, it will do weird things like trn on the flashlight, open a bunch of apps, butt dial!!! even with the phone requiring a fingerprint or pin and hitting the power button before putting it in pocket. We have ordered holsters to avoid this issue...

Talk and text plan, kind of felt a little obligated i had a hard time shopping for phone to post this, Buy this instead of going online and searching new and refurbished phones good operating system Ram processing for price, Google play store for apps everything you need here for a very reasonable price, wiish i would have spared myself the shopping process and just did this right away, only advice when activating do with strong wireless connection many updates can take a long time without, thank you

It's got a nice, vibrant screen, passable camera, and enough features loaded in to get you through your day. I have 3 kids who mainly use my Apple devices, but are able to pick this up and use it without asking for my help. The interface is intuitive, and isn't bogged down with an incredible amount of bloatware. The Android skin is pretty bare-bones, so it's close to pure android. Overall I'd say this is a solid purchase if you're looking to get in with Verizon Prepaid.

For what it's worth I am a heavy phone user group texting, switching from app to app. The phone just began getting slow or laggy a year after having it. It's an inexpensive sturdy phone the camera is decent. I have glass protector and a light weight plastic case and the phone has survived several hard drops from concrete to Walmart floors. Nothing special about the camera but it takes good pics in outdoor lightening or very bright indoor light

The Motorola Moto E5 is an excellent phone for its low cost! Perfect size and great peformance. Seems to have all the basic features of the phones costing $500-1,000. I use it mainly for calls, text, internet searches, mapping, and a few pictures. I would definitely buy it again!

Not as good as my e4 Moto. The fingerprint reader is on the back of the phone. Also hard to get out of the screen that you are on. Has too many pre-installed apps that take up most of the 16 gigs of storage. Camara is an upgrade.

Phone has decent battery life and has a smooth android experience. Runs Android Oreo. Good 5.2in HD display. The camera is an 8MP decent for daily shots. Front firing speakers are decent. Removable battery is a rarity nowadays and glad that Motorola still supports it.

I only bought this phone because I needed to send my Google Pixel 2 XL back to Google for a replacement. I had two other previous phones for back-up but neither worked. Anyway, I couldn't go without a phone for a week or two, so I had to result to prepaid. My mom has the Moto E4 and it's ok but the Moto E5 has a few more improvements like the fingerprint option in which I use a lot on my Pixel 2XL. Its lightweight and compact. I like the split screen option and being able to customize it. I will keep this phone for emergencies!! :)

Our daughter is very hard on phones. She has destroyed iPhones, Samsung phones, and many others that we bought on our plan, then we discovered these pay-as-you-go phones. They are decent phones that hold up to abuse very well, and at around $70 a phone, we're saving a lot on insurance and phone repairs (the phone is cheaper than a repair or insurance).

The Motorola e5 Play is much better then I expected it to me. I needed a new phone due to some issues with my previous phone and didn't have the money to buy what I really wanted. So for the price it is much better then expected. With all the apps I have on the phone I still have about 4GB left of memory on the phone and with the 128 GB SD card I installed I will not have any issues with space.

I needed another phone so I decided to get a prepaid line. I haven't had a prepaid phone in over 19 years so I wasn't sure of what to get and was skeptical about the quality of a prepaid phone. However, to my surprise this phone is great. It's simple to use and so far it's very reliable. It does not have a lot of fancy bells and whistles, but it meets your basic phone needs. I really like this phone and would definitely recommend it.

for less than 70 dollars I can't complain too much....the sound(people's voices) is a bit off...perhaps I can adjust that?...and ofcourse only 16GB drive....other than that is solid.

Good price for a fairly full-featured device. It's got plenty of speed, and I love that the battery can be removed.
