- Answer The "black/white" designation had to do with how the item was named within Best Buy's inventory. This does not describe a feature but rather a version of retail packaging that was not in color. This is no longer the case, but it continues to show up that way on the website. Please rest assured that the product displays and captures in color.

- Answer The product cannot be installed to operate on an iPad or iPad Pro. It does require a full macOS version to run the app and the VIDBOX capture device. The MP4 file produced by the app on a compatible Mac should be playable on an iPad.

- Answer The VIDBOX capture products do not directly play tapes. However, if you have a tape deck or camcorder that can play the tapes and output to the RCA and/or S-Video inputs on the VIDBOX capture device, this product should be able to capture your MiniDV content.

- Answer Yes, if you have appropriate outputs for your player that can output to RCA composite and/or S-Video, you will be able to capture to digital files on your Mac. If possible, it is recommended to check that your player can output to a TV using those same connections to make sure the video and audio outputs work before getting the VIDBOX product.

- Answer This product produces a video file but it does not perform disc burning. You can use the saved video file in other programs to edit and/or burn. Check the documentation for those other programs for information on what you will be able to do.
