• A:Answer Old question but I just went through this so might as well answer. The blower is not included. Neither is the transition. You need to order those 2 pieces separately. It would have been a nice piece of information to have when purchasing since best buy doesn't necessarily have them. They had to be custom orders. (they had the blower, not the transition)

• A:Answer No and it is so Powerful that when on high it turns off even my highest burner on my new Viking gas stovetop They wanted me to drill vent holes in my cheery wood cabinetry and i declined. So every time i use it, i must open the cabinets under my island cooktop to keep my burners on. Hope this helps. Otherwise Love both the stovetop and downdraft
