QuestionDear Best Buy. Is this a BRAND NEW machine?

- Answer My machine was not advertised as refurbished even with the 280$ price. Everything appears brand new. No scratches. Brand new user manual and recipe books included. I registered my blender with Vitamix by phone and have the full 10 year warranty.

- Answer This machine comes with a 10 year warranty. Vitamix often makes products that are unique so retailers can offer something we do not, that being said it was likely shipped directly from us which is why it came in a brown box and not a retail box.

- Answer Hi there! True shaved ice uses a special piece of equipment, however with the Vitamix you can crush up ice very fine but may be close to a snow cone consistency.
