  • QuestionI bought this, but I dont know how to control the base via the remote. Can someone explain to me how to do this?

    Asked by Drew.

    • Answer Press the menu button, and use the up or down arrows to scroll until you find the “bass” then use the right skip button to turn it up or the left to turn it down. The “bass” will turn your bass up or down, as where the “subwoofer” option will adjust the overall performance of the sub. So if you turn the sub up all the way up you can get a louder bass if adjusting the bass option alone isn’t enough for your taste.

    Asked by CeeCee.

    • Answer How did tou hook it to the TV? If you are using red and black rca cable change the input to aux on the sound bar. If you are using the optical cable then change input to optical. You also may need to change you tv digital audio out to pcm setting. This will give you the best sound by the way.

  • QuestionWhat’s the total watt output?

    Asked by Minn.

    • Answer In some home theater setups, users purchase components separately. So, a user would need to purchase a receiver, an amplifier, and individual speakers. When piecing together a home theater system in this fashion it’s important to balance the system. Measuring the wattage each device is capable of transmitting & receiving and the impedance of each device (measured in OHMs) was balanced to achieve the maximum sound pressure level (or volume measured in decibels). Typically, a speaker that can receive a higher wattage are also capable of creating a higher Sound Pressure Level (decibels). It’s important to note that watts is a measure of power, but sound pressure level, (The measure of volume), is the end result. In VIZIO Sound Bar Systems the components are self-contained and balanced, so the wattage transmitted between each internal component is already configured to give you the maximum Sound Pressure Level, which for this Sound Bar is 100 dB.

  • QuestionWhy doesn’t my equalizer let me click on it on my Vizio smart TV

    Asked by Elrod.

    • Answer If you have a sound bar, you would adjust the settings on the sound bar using the remote that was included. The equalizer settings inside of your TV, are only meant to control the TV speakers. Since you're connected to a sound bar, they're likely grayed out.

  • QuestionHow does this give me watt on sound

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer While I don't know the actual sound output, I do know that it gets plenty loud for regular TV (and movie) viewing in a very large living room. You won't be able to power a night club with it, but, for TV and movies, you will be good to go.
