A:AnswerMy cable box is an ADD receiver from Cable One and it has an HDMI output cable which I use at the TVs HDMI input to give me the 1080 resolution. I liked this TV so much that I gave an identical one to my grand son for his high school graduation present to take off to college with him. He probably will use it to play his games on and watch programs on his Netfix account.
A:AnswerI have the D24-D1 and yes you can. You go into the MENU, select PICTURE, and there is a specific setting to turn the AUTO-BRIGHTNESS ON/OFF.
This works great fro me as I am using mine as a second monitor on my computer and sometimes I watch a Netflix movie on it since it is Roku-ready.
Hope this helps!!
A:AnswerI would call and ask. It would also be good to know if it is a replacement or a new install. You may also need a new dish on roof if you are going from the old tube TV to HDTV. I would suggest checking with some RV dealers or if you have a Winegard antenna, they have a list available of certified installers. We found a great one this way and it was pretty painless. More carpentry involved than electronics, so might not be a Geek Squad option. Nevertheless, much less complicated than I thought if you find an installer in the know. I would recommend a firm with RV experience, not the same as a living room install.
