“Does the remote control the volume on the analog audio out? I have an expensive Samsung that does not allow this, but a cheaper Sony that does. I'd like to hook up to some great Bose speakers that I already have, but don't want to have to get up to change the volume. In general, just looking for a 40" 1080/120 TV that will allow this – thoughts? Thanks!”

• Yes, you have many volume control options, I'm very happy with the sound now that I have external analog speakers.

• The tv tries to regulate the volume but some commercials make the volume loud to accentuate certain words.
