• No, though you are able to name the HDMI1-4 and COMP inputs as you wish.

• You don't see them , they are on the back side out of sight

• Not sure what you mean by unused inputs. With everything on the back not sure what inputs you can see from the front. I did mount mine on the wall using a kit to hide the wires in the wall, very easy to do, by the way. Very clean look.
