“Does the 55" have a VA or IPS panel? I have read conflicting reviews concerning the type of panel. Is it VA or IPS?”

• 55" M series has a VA panel. For 2015 M Series,only the 49" is IPS.

• No it doesn't has IPS. If viewed from an angle thew TV washes out ( Looks white and dull). IPS TV can be viewed from better angles and are worth the extra dollars.
