I found my awnser when i got this.... it does not do 1440p 120 hz for pc nor does it do 1440p 60 hz or even 4k..... it only has native HD 120hz for the pc side. and then for the HD side which does not allow for better gaming. but movie. does only 1440p 60hz.....so it could if they had a firmware for this. but if you do xbox s.... which is 1440p 120hz gaming system. THIS CANNOT DO IT... it only does 4k 120hz.... or 1440p 60hzz.... or HD 120hz... period... i called to double check and vizio confirmed.... so i asked why.... well they say it a xbox x tv not a x box s...........................................................
Dude, HDMI 2.1 supports 120hz full 4:4:4 10 bit bandwidth. it sounds like your graphics card has only HDMI 2.0 ports which only do 4k 60hz 4:4:4 at 8 bit or 4:2:2 at 10 bit. I would recomend either replacing your graphics card, or using a display port 1.4 (assuming your graphics car supports it. it should but check anyway.) to a hdmi 2.1 adapter. also make sure that your port isnt being used in a legacy mode or whatnot.
Hello Anto, Currently VIZIO Televisions do not support 1440p. We’re currently working on support for 1440p.
