ANSWER: 1. I've had generally good performance of squashing the soap opera effect out of this TV. I've had mixed results with some inputs (streaming HBO off my XBOX) but I can't confirm if the juddering is the TV or the source (the streaming). I've watched a 4K movie (Terminator Genysis) on UltraFlix which was true 4K and was able to squash the soap opera effect pretty well. Overall, I'd say this TV is good, not excellent when it comes to Motion Blur and Judder settings. ANSWER: 2. This TV supports DLNA but I have not used. I did use PLEX and my Chromecast, but neither of those were 4K that I could confirm. PLEX looked a lot better than the Chromecast which was guaranteed 1080p, so maybe it was steaming in 2160p? MY WORKAROUND: I found a way to download 4K movies off YouTube and play those files off a USB stick and the files look excellent on the TV. Only pain in this is that you must convert the files to H.265 format which is slow so load up the queue and convert overnight. SUGGESTED WORKAROUND: Get a Roku 4K and cast to that. The Roku 4K supports YouTube 4K streaming while the VIZIO smart tv portion does not. Hope my replies helped.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.on some movies it does but most it does not
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not seen the soap opera effect. In terms of casting It depends on the casting device, I have a Amazon fire stick that purchased a year ago and the best it will do is 1080. Using the Amazon app or Netflix on the tv allows access to the UHD(4K) content
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV has a great picture, better than other brands at this price point. This TV has netlix and hulu installed on it, no need to send it from a computer. Picture from services like these look just as good as other HD programming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it can however it is easily corrected thru the tv menu.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Soap Opera effect will be none existing if you correctly calibrate this TV. You can get the professional calibration settings from some online channels. I used one from cnet and it works for me. As for casting, not sure if you meant casting content from PC to this TV via a streaming device. If so, I use Chromecast and it works awesomely. The quality of casting content mostly depends on the streaming device, I think. For me, casting youtube clips via Chromecast looks pretty good (providing you're casting HD content). I haven't tried netflix, so I can't confirm it.
