• Yes this is an HD TV. To get the best picture you need to use an HDMI cable connecting the TV to the cable box.

• What is your source and is it HD? The picture on mine is great provided the source is digital or better.

• Tv is hd, if your cable is only in standard definition you'll see a less clear picture, try using a bluray or one of the apps, if either of those are clear it's your cable

• This is Ultra HD. I am using this TV and didn't find the picture fuzzy neither I found color as pale.
