QuestionI hooked up my DVD player to TV. When I turn on the TV a HOT jack with a caution appears. Why is that?

- Answer That just means that whatever you have plugged in there was first connected to power and then the TV. To get that to stop, unplug your device from the back of the TV and power both. Then plug it into the TV first and electricity second. Hot is referring to electric current, not temperature. - Answer Hi Rhalit. I'm not 100% sure, since I'm not terribly familiar with peloton. The TV does support screen sharing through Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast. If you're viewing the peloton app on one of those devices- you should be able to cast (either from within the app, or by casting the screen) unless peloton has otherwise restricted it. If you're viewing the app on the bike itself- i don't know what kind of platform that uses, and if it can broadcast.

QuestionIs there a reasonable reason for the TV to have started taking a considerably longer amount of time to turn on after a software upgrade, and sometimes it just shuts back down?

- Answer I had this same problem and contacted Vizio, ours was out of the manufacture warranty time so they suggested contacting Best Buy to see what can be done. Not sure if it’s fixable or needs to be replaced.

QuestionWhen I turn the tv off and go into the other room. The tv turns back on by itself. When I turn it off again, it will stay off. I don't watch it often but it happens almost every time. Is this normal? Is there a setting for it?

- Answer Are you using the CEC/ARC feature with your source? When this is enabled, the TV will turn on if it detects a signal on that port (I believe it’s limited to HDMI 1). I have had the same issue, and haven’t found a resolution either, because my source (Roku box) doesn’t ever turn “off”. Hitting the power button again does let the TV stay off, though. You could switch the port on the TV, or turn off CEC, but then the TV can’t control your audio system or other devices.

QuestionIm looking for an HDMI "OUTPUT" on this TV to send to a wireless video transmitter. The transmitter only takes HDMI input. I want to transmit my living room picture to a TV in my kitchen.

- Answer TVs do not have HDMI outputs. If you want to display the same thing on 2 TVs, you need to split the output of the source (ie cable box) and send that to each TV. If the living room TV is smart and you are watching a streaming service on it, such as Netflix, then there is no way I know of to share that video. If you need to actually watch the same streaming service AT THE SAME TIME on both TVs, you can put an Apple TV or Roku Ultra or other similar device in the living room and use an HDMI splitter to split its output so 1 can be connected to the living room TV and the other can be connected to the wireless transmitter. If you are just trying to be able to watch a streaming service on the kitchen TV because it is not smart, and you don't need to watch the same thing at the same time on both TVs, then just add something like a Roku Streaming Stick to the kitchen TV.

- Answer I actually own both. Not much except you pay a lot more for the P-Series. It's not that much better believe me. Every series of the Vizio Smart TV is a bit different than the other. For my usage I like the built-in apps for YouTube TV, Netflix, CBS All Access, Spotify, YouTube, I heart radio etc. Different TV like the P-Series had to has different apps. I'm naming the apps on my E-Series. I highly recommend the series. It also has an NBC app so you can watch anything on NBC if your regular show was interrupted during live airing. I cannot sing this enough praises!
