• Yes, local dimming will work in game mode. If you use the game picture mode, by default it is turned off but can be turned on like any other picture mode without issue. The same is the case for any other picture mode where Game Low Latency is activated. If you play games in HDR, the local dimming greatly enhances the brightness. It is very effective and a large improvement over SDR.

• It works in all Modes. Gaming Mode is just a recommend Display Setting to play Games. Also activates your Input Lag Mode for faster input specific to XBOX One or PS4.
