Questionwhat is the width of the tv stands! EX front to back need to know so I can tell if it will sit on the shelf of my entertainment system ?

- Answer Each stand is 11 7/8 inches wide (front to back of tv). Distance from outer edge to outer edge of each stand (across the width of the tv) is 51 3/4 inches.

QuestionHow does the 32 local dimming zones compared to 64 from last year affect picture quality? Does this have wide color gamut? Also when are these going to be on display at best buy stores to check out?

- Answer Saw the M side by side in store and the difference between 32 and 64 is not noticeable. In fact, due to better algorithms on new M I think the 32 looks better than last year (in regards to black levels and no blooming). Colors look great... certain stores starting to get units on demo and most should in next 30 days.

QuestionI currently have a 65" Vizio 4K TV made in 2014 [model P652ui-B2] - Will the newer Vizio 65" deliver a better quality picture. Have a Philips 4K DVD player and the difference between a 4K disc and a blue ray disc is hardly noticeable.

- Answer this TV has HDR which produces better color. However, until there is more HDR content I wouldn't replace the older TV

QuestionI’ve heard this TV does not even have a coaxial input to receive over the air stations from an external antenna/cable. If this is the case, is there any other way to get over the air signals into this TV? Do they make digital tuners that connect via HDMI?

- Answer Yes, they make tuners with HDMI out that you can use to get OTA via an antenna. A plus to using an external tuner is many of the office recording options by connecting a thumb drive or a hard drive, eliminating the need for a Tivo or such....

- Answer Yes, you can. Recently the Vizio app received a major facelift, as well. The TV will turn on with the included remote, the Smartcast App, or a Google Home. And all three of these options work flawlessly.

- Answer It has speakers thou maybe because of how thin it is they are not very good.What It does not have is a Tuner, as in a spot to plug in your white coaxial cable or to get over the air signals. This home theater displays what you input or cast to it

QuestionIs HDR only available on HDMI 1? I am using HDMI 1 for Arc over to my Bose sound bar and I am trying to run Apple TV 4K on another HDMI but it will not operate in Dolby vision or HDR. Thoughts? All HDMI cables are high speed.

- Answer This tv is an M65-E0, not an E65-E0 This tv is from the M series , 65 inches, and the E0 part seems to means it's the 2017 model. The previous version from 2016 was m65 D0. As far as I know there isn't an M65 E1 Now the other tv you mentioned is the E65 E1. That TV is from the E series, 65 inches and the E1 part means it's the 2017 model. The M series is a slightly more premium series than the E series. The M series will have better picture quality than the E series.

- Answer HDR features on this model are available on HDMI 1 and on the Cast input when casting content. To enable HDR on HDMI 1 simply turn on HDMI Color Subsampling in the Inputs option of the settings.

- Answer The tuner is needed if you want to get stations 'off the air'. If you have a cable or satellite service you don't need the tuner. Also a blu-ray player, AppleTV, Roku, etc. don't require the tuner

QuestionWhat is the VESA pattern size? I have a wall mount but not sure if it supports 65 inch tv.

- Answer VESA 400 mm X 400 mm, however mounts may support this pattern size and not support that size of TV due to weight. Ensure your mount is sufficient up to 65 inches

QuestionHow is the picture from side viewing? This will be above fireplace in corner where I can see from kitchen at an angle.

- Answer rtings.com and reviews.com both say that the picture degrades from an angle (as do most LEDs...the only one I've seen that is amazing is a way too expensive OLED!). I would recommend figuring out your angle from the kitchen and find a BB with one on display and see if it meets your needs. Some reviewers seem not bothered by it, so it would be up to you what is acceptable...

QuestionWhat does geek squad protection cover? Will they come to your house if something goes wrong with your TV? Do they come to house to set up? Is it better to have on a stand or wall mount?

It will include coverage for things like dust, heat, and humidity, failure of internal components, pixels (more than 3 throughout the screen minimum), and screen burn-in. It will not cover damage or failure due to accidental handling or "acts of God" such as cracked screens, fire, direct lighting strikes, and floods. Geek Squad protection does not include mounting services, but those are available for an additional charge. The performance of the TV shouldn't be impacted by having it mounted vs. putting it on a stand.

QuestionDiff answers to question "what is the refresh rate" ..1 answer says 60HZ and 1 says 120 HZ...which is it? Not the "effective" rate what is the specification...saw something where Vizio has some that are 60 HZ with backlight scanning they say are 120 HZ

- Answer The actual refresh rate is 60hz. Many companies use various terminology (Vizio uses effective refresh rate) to describe how the TV performs with backlight scanning. As someone who owned the 2016 M series previously, I do not notice a difference between the two. But it will depend on content. If you use motion interpolation (soap opera effect), then this TV will not allow you to turn that on. The same is the case if you plan to use as a game monitor for 120hz. If you game with home consoles, they can't reach higher than 60hz, so this is not an issue. When it comes to 24p content, the Vizio displays can adjust the 60hz refresh rate to 48hz to properly show 24fps playback, so blu-rays will look stellar without concern.

- Answer Yes, local dimming will work in game mode. If you use the game picture mode, by default it is turned off but can be turned on like any other picture mode without issue. The same is the case for any other picture mode where Game Low Latency is activated. If you play games in HDR, the local dimming greatly enhances the brightness. It is very effective and a large improvement over SDR.
