Saw the M side by side in store and the difference between 32 and 64 is not noticeable. In fact, due to better algorithms on new M I think the 32 looks better than last year (in regards to black levels and no blooming). Colors look great... certain stores starting to get units on demo and most should in next 30 days.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2017 has Wide Color Gamut and a brighter picture so better quality HDR even with less LDZ's but still...too many things Vizio downgraded on the '17 M vs '16 M '16 65" panels were 120Hz refresh rate...'17 panels all sizes now 60Hz As already mentioned, local dimming zones cut in half from last yeear...64 to 32. No motion interpolization for us SOE fans Input lag on the '16 M series was 17ms/16ms 1080/4k. For some crazy reason, the '17 M series is now close to the E series with 41ms/32ms 1080/4K Too many downgrades in my opinion...and I put off buying the '16 to wait for the '17 only to be disappointed reading all that.
