To help save some battery life on the Smart Phone or Tablet you are using to cast content you can cast the content and then lock the device so the screen shuts off. The content isn’t actually playing from your device but telling your display to go get the content from the service you wanted to watch such as Netflix. You cannot access any applications through the display itself. All apps are accessed by Casting them from your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. It must be running iOS 8.0 or higher or Android 4.4 or higher. You can pair them with the VIZIO SmartCast™ application available for free download in both app stores. You can Cast many popular applications such as HBO NOW, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Spotify, VUDU, and hundreds more!

A:AnswerNo, it is not a true smart tv since it docent have any apps built in. However it does have built in ChromeCast so you can directly stream from the Smart Cast app or other apps like Netflix from a smartphone or tablet as well as Chrome on a PC or Mac.
A:AnswerI used a company called affirm. They let me barrow the money and I pay it back in installments of $40 for 2 years or so. They work with Best Buy and many other top brands. It's freaking Awesom!

If you do not have a device that is able to send a 4K resolution, this display will upscale all content to near 4K. You are able to cast 4K content from your paired smartphone or tablet through YouTube, VUDU, Netflix, and more.
