Unlike analog cables, HDMI cables are transmitting digital signals (a series of ones and zeros)- basically a data stream. So the quality of the cable makes NO difference in quality of picture or sound. The signal will either work, or not work-- in other words the data stream will either get from one place to the other-or not-- it will not improve with a better cable. So if you have picture, you are good. In the old analog days sales people would try and sell you an expensive cable (like Monster cables)- in the analog world this may have given you a slightly better picture or sound, but these (digital) days, it is silly to tell someone they will get better picture or sound with a better cable- it is a data stream that either connects or does not. Some 4K signals specify a higher grade of cable- this is because there is a lot more data going down the cable than a HD signal-- but even in this example- you can find extremely cheap HDMI cables (like $5) on the internet that are rated for 4K signal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I had to but a 4k HDMI cable so the quality could look better from my dvd player to the tv. But you could house any standard HDMI but you won't get the full afect of picture quality out off your tv or gaming or dvd player.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you want to run 4k it would be best to get a high speed HDMI cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it were me, I'd buy a new cable for a new tv. Technology and equipment just keeps improving as time goes by. If you plan to mount on wall, some mounts come with an hdmi cable included. Congrats on your m-70! I love mine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used the same old hdmi cables and new ones. I can't tell a difference. Save the money and use the old ones. One cable did quit on me using the Apple TV.
