A:Answer I did, since the $1800.00 Sharp LCD I bought 3 years ago was fried during the last Thunder Storm. I was out a television. With Home Owners Insurance I would have just broke even, with a 1500 dollar deductible. So I 'hope' to use it this time around, (just to pay for the extended service plan). Your betting that something will go wrong with it, and the store gains that extra $$$ if nothing goes wrong with it.
