I did, since the $1800.00 Sharp LCD I bought 3 years ago was fried during the last Thunder Storm. I was out a television. With Home Owners Insurance I would have just broke even, with a 1500 dollar deductible. So I 'hope' to use it this time around, (just to pay for the extended service plan). Your betting that something will go wrong with it, and the store gains that extra $$$ if nothing goes wrong with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My personal theory on buying extended warranties is this... I ask myself, would I be upset if I had to buy the item again in 2-3yrs. For this TV, the answer is yes. For my $400 GoPro, the answer is no.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased the 2 year extended warranty just to be on the safe side considering the complexities of this newer technology.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would. Vizio should be a good brand, I heard Vizio's customer service can be a major pain trying to honor their 1 year warranty (Sony does it to). Base on what I've read on Amazon, a lot of times Vizio goes bad just after their 1 year warranty expires. My question for you is, do you have extra money to either fix or buy a new tv after their 1 year warranty expires? If no, then go ahead spend the extra $399.99 for Best Buys 5 year extended service plane.
