“I know based upon Vizio's website the width of this tv is 65.72" however, does anybody know what the dimension is from one leg to the other? So how much table top is needed since it has legs towards the corners.”

Hello, Distance Between Outer Stand Legs-54.80
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The answer provided by Vizio is not entirely correct. The distance of 54.80 is the width between the leg attachment points. The legs themselves are angled outward. The distance between the legs, at the point where they contact the table top, is approximately 57" in width.
