A:AnswerYou can connect your echo dot through Bluetooth which allows all audio from the echo dot to the sound bar. To have this constant you would need to turn off energy saver/eco mode to prevent the sound bar from powering off automatically. If it is connected to the TV as well, you would need to switch between bluetooth and the input the TV is connected to. Doing that you may have to reconnect the echo dot each time you do this.

A:AnswerNot true. With this specific model there are a music and movie setting. For tv I keep it on movies, their is plenty of sound not only from the sound bar but from the sub. There is also a setting where you can raise or lower the level of the subwoofer. I hope this answers your question.
A:AnswerDepending on what you are running your tv through will determine what to do. First make sure your TV speakers are turned off. Then make sure your TV setting are set to external speakers. A long with your cable box if your using a cable box. Same goes for if your running your tv and cable through an Xbox or a PlayStation.

While some basic functions already work without issue, you'd want to keep an eye on VIZIO.com for any future firmware updates that will allow full functionality. If your sound bar is connected to a network it will also manually install the firmware when available.

A:AnswerMine is wireless, but I only have the bass. The sound bar connects wirelessly to it pretty easily. It is easier if two people are setting up the connection. The bar is connected to the oitlet and to the TV.
A:AnswerUnfortunately, no. I wish it had backlight. Once it's hooked to the tv, I have only used it when I was going to Bluetooth to play music...so it really hasn't been an issue. The tv remote controls the sound bar.
